Performances and Installations, 1975-1980

One of the continuing trajectories of Lacy’s work is her emphasis on relationships, manifested temporally in the structure of performance events (often demonstrating community) as well as in characterizations (revealing individual relationships with specific women, often collaborators.) Although the following projects and performances were not conceived as a series, they are placed together in this document due to an underlying theme of relationship in each of these early works, one that is visible as well in later, more complicated works.
