I Tried Everything, 1972
This collaboration parodies breast enhancement products and their false advertising using the format of a pseudoscientific study. The artists pooled money to send away for various creams and devices that Youdelman methodically tried out. She jotted notes about her findings on index cards, and Atlantis photographed her in a sequence that playfully recalls the trend in Conceptual art of information gathering and body measurement. The artists presented advertisements, products, their notes, and documentation of their correspondence with various companies.
